RC44 (keelboat)

The regatta yacht RC 44 is an entirely made ​​of carbon fiber reinforced plastic ( CFRP) manufactured, and thus very light and fast racing yacht. The yacht RC 44 was developed for high-profile race in international regattas under strict compliance with the class rules. The boat design and boat layout is aimed at amateur teams that are quite to expand sailing professionals. Therefore much space occupies a large open cockpit. The races are organized in the young class as a fleet race or as a match race. Built by RC 44

The yachts are manufactured by Pauger Carbon Composites in Budapest ( Hungary). The company was founded in 1990 by Dénes Paulovits. First one was dedicated to the design and manufacture of CFRP poles (up to a maximum of 30 meters in length ) and the development of custom racing yachts.
