Realbasic

Xojo (formerly REALbasic and REAL Studio ) is an object oriented programming language with visual development environment for Mac OS X, Linux and Windows and is based in their commands and the syntax of the programming language BASIC.

Properties

Xojo is very similar to Visual Basic 6, so that it is currently very popular with Visual -Basic -6- followers who do not want to switch to. NET. Xojo comes with a large library of elements. A separate version of the development environment for Linux has been available since 2005.

History

REALbasic was originally developed by the American Andrew Barry under the name CrossBasic, then as a pure Macintosh software.
