Rebellion (Band)

Rebellion is a German power metal band. The result is rebellion, as Uwe Lulis left the band Grave Digger in 2000. With him Tomi Divine founded the band as a copywriter rebellion of Grave Digger.

History

The first album, Shakespeare 's Macbeth - A Tragedy in Steel, was a concept album about William Shakespeare's work Macbeth, which was well received by the fans, because it is both the play Macbeth completely treating them, and was technically impressive. The album contains music and speech passages. It acts with music direction by Power / Heavy Metal.

The second album Born a Rebel, contains far more pure heavy metal lyrics and is slightly slower, more directly and significantly rougher than the more power -metal- lastigere predecessor. Mainly deal with rebellion in their second album, motorcycles, metal, war and religion.

In 2005, the first part of a trilogy called The History of Vikings with the name Sagas of Iceland appeared - The History of the Vikings Volume 1 On 15 December 2006 the new single Miklagard appeared from the second part of the trilogy, which on 23 February published in 2007 and the name Miklagard - wearing the History of the Vikings Volume 2. Musically oriented rebellion in the previous album, which - apart from the single - slightly harder and faster songs are played.

After several postponements, the third part, and thus the end of the Viking trilogy was Arise: From Ginnungagap to Ragnarök - The History of the Vikings Volume III published on July 24, 2009.

End of December 2010 entered Uwe Lulis left the band. At the same time also announced Gerd Lucking and Simone Wenzel their exit. As a new guitarist was presented in February 2011 Oliver Geibig, who already plays with Tomi Divine in the band Magic of Radio, as second guitarist comes later Stephan Karut added. Drummer David Faifer 2011 had only a short interlude, because the organizational hurdles did not make a move from Czech Republic to Germany possible. For him it is still entered in the same year Matthias Karle.

On October 26, 2012 appeared with Arminius Fury Teutonicus after more than three years a new album.
