Rębice

Rębice ( German Birkhain ) is a dwelling-place in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. He is in the field of Gmina Rymań (Town novel) and, with this the powiat Kołobrzeski ( Kolberger circle).

Geographical location

The living space is located in Eastern Pomerania, about 80 kilometers north-east of Szczecin, about 25 kilometers south of Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg), two kilometers south of the village Gorawino ( Gervin ). East of the living space flows from south to north of Ückerbach, which makes further north a wide berth to the west. Beyond the creek to the east lies the living space Drozdówko ( Vorwerk Drosedow ) belonging to Drozdowo ( Drosedow ).

History

The living space was created around 1850 as Vorwerk around the manor Gervin B. The Barbican was named after the then Birkhain here growing birches. When the estate was 1897/1898 split Birkhain came with 114 acres of land to a buyer. Later, it was further divided. Before 1945 Birkhain consisted of two farms over 24 hectares and 38 hectares of land.

By 1945 Birkhain made ​​a living space of the community Gervin and belonged to the district with this Kolberg- Körlin Pomerania.

After the Second World War came Birkhain how completely Pomerania to Poland. It was the Polish place names Rębice.
