Recep Yıldız

Recep Yıldız ( born March 10, 1986 in Stuttgart) is a Turkish footballer who is currently without a club.

Career

The defender spent his footballing youth initially at SKV Stuttgart- Freiberg, until he moved to the youth department of the Stuttgart Kickers. He drew attention to himself when he with the Stuttgarter Kickers threw out Hamburger SV DFB Cup on 9 September 2006, scoring two goals. Previously, he played twice for the Turkish U-21 national team and scored a goal here. After the 2007/ 08 season he left the Kickers and signed a three-year contract with the Turkish first division club Antalyaspor. His first assignment was a competitive match against Galatasaray Istanbul on 13 September 2008.

His contract was prematurely dissolved in mutual agreement, since he hardly used in Antalya. Since the 2009/10 season he played in the rise candidates for Süper Lig Adanaspor and has a regular place in the starting XI.
