Red Lion and Sun Society

The Red Lion with Red Sun Society of Iran ( Persian جمعیت شیر ​​و خورشید سرخ ایران, DMG Ǧam ʿ iyat -e SiR o ḫoršīd -e -e sorḫ Īrān ) is the oldest non-profit organization of Iran. History

The Red Lion with Red Sun Society of Iran was established in 1923 by the physician Amir Amir - Alam during the reign of Ahmad Shah. Reason for the founding of the company was an earthquake in the province of Khorasan in Bojnourd. The sign and the name " Red Lion With Red Sun" are protected by federal law in Switzerland and Austria. The German Red Cross Act makes no explicit reference to the distinctive emblem or the designation.
