Glühkohlen Anemonefish (Amphiprion ephippium )

The Glühkohlen Anemonefish (Amphiprion ephippium ) lives in the lagoons and coral reefs on the Nicobar and Andaman Islands, on the west coast of the Malay Peninsula, on the coasts of Sumatra and on the west, north and east coasts of Java in depths of 2-15 meters. Like all Anemonenfische he lives in close symbiosis with large Seeanemonenarten. As host anemones he accepts the BTA ( Entacmaea quadricolor ), the Lederanemone ( Heteractis crispa ) and possibly also a Stichodactyla type.

Features

Grown Glühkohlen Anemonefish have an orange- red or bright red body and fins of the same color.
