Reddingen is a municipality in the district of Wietzendorf Heidekreis, Lower Saxony. The place has with the associated hamlets Reiningen and Halmern only 94 inhabitants.

Location

Reddingen located in the Lüneburg Heath. Through the settlement Reiningen the Wietze flows. Just north of the three places begins the Truppenübungsplatz South Munster, which is closed to the public.

History

On March 1, 1974 Reddingen was incorporated into the municipality Wietzendorf.

Traffic

In the resort, the county roads meet 11 and 38 through the three villages take bus 352 of the Transport Community Northeast Lower Saxony ( VNN ).
