Reference designator
Under an electrical equipment is meant an electrical component, a module or a unit of an electrical system. The literal definition is:
" Electrical equipment within the meaning of that accident prevention regulations are all objects which as a whole or in individual parts of the applying electrical energy (eg objects for creating, propagating, distributing, storing, measuring, implementing and consuming ) or the transfer, distribution and processing of information ( serve items such as the telecommunications and information technology ). In industrial plants, electrical equipment is usually denoted by the so-called resource identifier ( BMK). These are attached to the equipment and entered in the circuit diagram on the corresponding icon.
System
The device tag is a ' -' as the sign precedes and can be extended to facilities and location ID. This is particularly useful for larger systems to keep things clear. The following device tags are common:

Reference mark, device tags
The current reference mark, previously referred to as device tags are in the standard EN 81346-2. This standard replaces the European Standard EN 61346-2, which previously the DIN standard DIN 40719-2 replaced in Germany and has been effective since May 2010. The following codes are defined:
