Reflection Eternal

Reflection Eternal is an American hip hop duo of Talib Kweli and Hi- Tek.

History

The two artists met each other at work on Hi- Tek's Mixtape Hustle on the Side know. Shortly thereafter, she appeared in 1997 together on the Title Industry Lies by Moods debut album Doom. That same year, Kweli and Hi- Tek signed with the newly formed hip- hop label Rawkus Records and performed on the sampler Rawkus Records Soundbombing first time their band name Reflection Eternal one.

1998 Kweli collaborated with Mos Def on the shared album Black Star, which they released as a duo under the name of Black Star. Hi- Tek headed to Black Star in the production of some songs.

Two years later, Kweli and Hi- Tek got back together. This time to finally produce the first joint album Train of Thought. Following Train of Thought both artists devoted more strongly their solo careers and to Reflection Eternal, it was quiet.

In 2008, she announced that they want to work on a second album together. Revolutions Per Minute was released on May 18, 2010.
