Regent University is an American evangelical university whose main campus is located in Virginia Beach. A satellite campus is located in Alexandria / Virginia.

The university was founded in 1977 by Pat Robertson under the name " CBN University ". Robertson is still Chancellor of the University.

Regent confers academic degrees to students who study on campus, as well as distance-learning course. Only the Juris Doctor can only be purchased locally.
