Regent University is an American evangelical university whose main campus is located in Virginia Beach. A satellite campus is located in Alexandria / Virginia.

The university was founded in 1977 by Pat Robertson under the name " CBN University ". Robertson is still Chancellor of the University.

Regent confers academic degrees to students who study on campus, as well as distance-learning course. Only the Juris Doctor can only be purchased locally.

The Princeton Review lists the Regent University ranked seventh in the country in terms of quality of life and the university also rated as the most conservative college in the United States.

Resignations of professors at the School of Psychology and Counseling
