Reginald Drax
Sir Reginald Aylmer Ranfurly Plunkett - Ernle - Erle - Drax, even Reginald Plunkett or Reginald Drax, KCB, DSO, ( born August 28, 1880 in St. Marylebone, London, † October 16, 1967 in Poole, Dorset ) was a British Admiral.
Life
Reginald Drax served as a naval officer in the First World War on the European Seekriegsschauplätzen. Later, he served as President of the Inter-Allied Naval Control Commission in the Weimar Republic ( 1923-1924 ).
In advance of the German -Soviet Non-Aggression Pact (1939 ), he and the French General Aimé Doumenc stayed as the negotiators of a joint British and French delegations in the summer of 1939 in the Soviet Union.
Family
His brother was the writer and 18th Baron of Dunsany Edward John Moreton Drax Plunkett ( 1878-1957 ).
