Regius Professor of Physic (Cambridge)

The Regius Professorship of Physic is a professor of medicine and one of the oldest professorships at the University of Cambridge. It was established in 1540 as the Regius professor of Hebrew, theology, Greek, and Law by Henry VIII (England). The term Physic is an obsolete English word for medicine.
