Reichsgau

Reichsgaue were state administrative districts in parts of the German Empire in the time of National Socialism-from 1939 to 1945.

Definition

Reichsgaue were under the direction of an imperial governor, the same person was usually the same for Gauleiter ( party - ) Gau of the NSDAP. They had a field derived from imperial law to set in accordance with the Reich Minister of the Interior independently by ordinance law. This is the beginning of a reorganization of the kingdom of appeal, first outside the limits of Reich territory by 1937.

Sudetenland (Czechoslovakia)
