Reika Kakiiwa

Reika Kakiiwa (Japanese垣 岩 令 佳, Kakiiwa Reika, born July 19, 1989 in Kami- Amakusa, Kumamoto Prefecture) is a Japanese badminton player.

Career

Your first major success came at the national secondary school championships in 2004, where she won gold in singles. Subsequently, she attended the Yamada High School in Aomori northern Japan, where also their future teammate Mizuki Fujii, and Kaori Imabeppu, Eriko Hirose and Koharu Yonemoto went. Reika Kakiiwa won the 2008 Canadian Open in women's doubles with Mizuki Fujii. In 2010, both second in the Korea Open and the Dutch Open. At the World Championships in 2009 and 2010 but it was only enough for ninth place. With the Japanese team Kakiiwa was third in the team 's World Cup in the Uber Cup 2010.
