Reinhardsbrunn (Verwaltungsgemeinschaft)

The administrative community Reinhardsbrunn was a public corporation in the Thuringian district of Gotha. It was formed on 8 March 1994 by the municipalities Ernstroda and Finster mountains and the city of Friedrichroda for joint execution of their administrative business. The name derives from the monastery was the home of the Landgrave of Thuringia in Reinhardsbrunn on whose ruins 1827 Reinhardsbrunn castle was built.

In the three municipalities of the administrative community lived 7893 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2004), it covered an area of 36.90 km ². Office of the Management Community was the town hall in Friedrichroda. Last chairman before the dissolution was Monika boiling.

The administrative community Reinhardsbrunn was disbanded on 1 December 2007, when the same date the two communities Ernstroda and Finsterbergen were incorporated into the city Friedrichroda.
