Reinhold (crater)

Reinhold is a lunar impact crater on the western front at Mare Insularum, south of the large crater Copernicus. The rim has terracing, the crater floor is mostly flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by Erasmus Reinhold ( 1511-1553 ).
