The Reiu ( Reidenhofsche Bach; Estonian Reiu Jõgi ) is a 73 km long river in Estonia. He is a left tributary of the Pärnu and flows both within Latvian as well as on Estonian territory.

Its slope is 50 m, the catchment area of ​​917 km ².

The Reiu River is located in Pärnu sink. It rises in the 95 -acre spring lake Latvian Sakas (Estonian Soka ) and flows south-west of the village Paikuse in Pärnu, 9.1 kilometers from its mouth in the Baltic Sea.

The river has numerous tributaries. The most important are Vaskjõgi, Lähkma, Humalaste right hand and the left hand Ura.

The Reiu is known for its brown trout, pike and roach.
