Action
The psychologist Richard Clayton has a good life: His marriage is imminent, he drives an expensive car, and his new life coaching counselor is well on its way to becoming a bestseller. When he learns that he was adopted, he does everything possible to get to know his biological parents. Looking after them he meets Agnes and Frank Menure that put his life upside down.
Criticism
" Danny DeVito and Kathy Bates pull all Klamaukregister as broken trailer park trash and Hollywood's answer to the Flodders afloat in this ever- hyped fun family comedy about a man and his assiduous culture love needs to face up to their own family truth. Tolerance and reconciliation message lurking behind coarse slapstick, "Scream " star Neve Campbell and Ron Livingston remain pale against the exalted aufspielenden old.
