Relatives Menschsein

Relative humanity was a German band from Kaufbeuren im Allgäu, which is attributed to the Dark Wave movement. It was created in 1990 as a merger of the musicians Amadeus, Lissy Mödl and Jörg Wolfgram (aka " Jogy " ) and was known in the black scene mainly due to their poetic and evocative vocal pieces in German. Relative humanity are now seen as important and at the same time the earliest representatives of the New German Death Art.

History

Prior to founding Lissy Mödl and Amadeus already formed the band predecease, but only gained local notoriety. In the summer of 1990, she teamed up with keyboardist Jörg Wolfgram and formed the band Relative humanity.

Already the first singles of the new band were identified by their hitherto unique blend of music and lyric to hits in the black scene. The songs temple, faith, and particularly Cursed developed to scene hits that are still performed today and brought in them a record deal with the production company, Danse Macabre. Under the title ballad was released on this label, a music cassette with only four songs. With the first major concert on January 4, 1992 in Ulm, Germany launched a tour that made the band known in Germany, Belgium and Switzerland.

In July 1992, the EP Fallen angel appeared, and in August the trio was supported by the keyboardist Joerg Huettner. Then, the first and only album was released in June 1993, Eternity, the guitarist " Thar " ( among other things active for ghosting ) participated. According to this publication Jörg Wolfgram Relative left humanity and joined the band Dorsetshire. At this point, Andy Age came as a guitarist Relative to humanity. As a result, the band released only one song on various CD compilations and played live. The last appearance was in 1999, at the Amadeus gave away his stage clothes and thus disbanded unofficially. The band explained today that the resolution was never officially:
