Remigijus Lupeikis

Remigijus Lupeikis ( born September 22, 1964 in Klaipėda) is a former Soviet and later Lithuanian cyclist.

1986 Remigijus Lupeikis Junior World Champion in the Team Pursuit, together with Sergei Wodiopanow, Dragos Tschiwinski and Aida Klimawitschus. In 1992, he stepped over to the professionals. In 1994 he won the Berlin stage race and was third in the Tour de Normandie. In the UCI Track World Championships in 1995 in Bogotá, he was vice-champion in the points race. In 1997, he won the Valley of the Sun Stage Race and 2000, Egypt Tour. In 2001 he finished third in the overall standings of the Herald Sun Tour.

In 2000 Lupeikis Lithuanian runner in the road race, 2002 Lithuanian champion and was runner-up in the time trial. Twice, in 1996 and 2000 he raced in various disciplines at the Olympics, but could not place forward to. In 2002 he retired from cycling.
