Remos GX
The Remos G3 Mirage is a two-seat ultralight aircraft that was manufactured by the German company Remos Aircraft GmbH from Pasewalk.
History
1997 launched the prototype of the Remos G3 for its maiden flight. In the following years, about 10 to 20 pieces per year were built. Was established in 2006 next to the Remos G3 Mirage the Remos G3 600th This is a certified 600 kg takeoff weight U.S. version and structurally identical to the LTF -UL version. It is produced in Pasewalk, Mecklenburg -Vorpommern. In October 2007, the successor Remos GX launched for its first flight. The first machine was delivered in May 2008. Construction
The aircraft is a modern wing monoplane design made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic ( CFRP). It has a glide ratio of 1:15.
The G3 Mirage is powered by a Rotax engine with 80 or 100 hp. Flaps are operated electrically or manually depending on the equipment. The G3 Mirage has an approval for glider towing and banner towing. From their flight performance and its place they offer like a little two-seater.
In the GX was a completely made of CFRP wing with fowler flaps like gap, which can be extend up to 40 electrical degrees. The wings can be folding in for transport. Additionally, the machine was equipped with a modified fuselage shape with tail fin, new chassis and many improvements in detail for comfort and safety.
