Renato Corsetti

Renato Corsetti ( born March 29, 1941 in Rome ) is an Italian linguist. He was from 2001 to 2007 the chairman of the Universal Esperanto Association. From 1971 to 1973 he was already facing its youth organization Tejo. Corsetti is also a member of the Academy of Esperanto.

Corsetti was initially bank manager and later became a professor of educational psychology of language and communication at the University La Sapienza in Rome. He is married to the British writer Anna Loewenstein and lives with his family (two children ) in Palestrina near Rome. As his children grow up multilingual, he founded a network for the exchange of experiences between parents of multilingual children ( "Rondo Familia ").
