René Bolf

René Bolf ( born February 25, 1974 in Ostrava ) is a Czech football player.

Career

Bolf played in his youth for TJ Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, FC Vitkovice, VTJ Hranice, LeRK Brno and FC Karviná. In 1995, the long central defender went to Banik Ostrava, where he was able to prevail only in its third year.

1999 brought him Sparta Prague, after one and half years, he returned to Ostrava and has also been a fixture in the Czech national team. He was part of the squad for the Euro 2004, after which he joined AJ Auxerre. His last international match so far made ​​header and the ball strong Bolf, whose weakness is his technical game on September 3, 2005 at the 0:2 in Romania.

In Auxerre, he was in his first season to the root squad and scored four goals in 28 games. In the summer of 2005, he suffered a back injury and was in the game in 2005/ 06 to only ten missions. Also in the 2006/07 season he had injury problems and was no longer used in the first team.

In November 2006, he agreed with the club management to a premature termination of the contract, then got a contract offer from his former club Banik Ostrava but also from Sigma Olomouc. End of December 2006 he was injured severely, paused for half a year and then returned to Ostrava. There, too, he struggled with a lengthy injury, his first appearance he was only in March 2008.
