Renée Faure

Renée Faure ( born April 14, 1919 in Paris; † 2 May 2005 Clamart, Hauts -de- Seine) was a French actress.

Life

Renée Faure, who was part of the French Legion of Honor, played from 1937 to 1964 in the ensemble of the prestigious Comédie Française. International recognition it reached in 1947 at the Gérard Philipes side in the film adaptation of Stendhal The Charterhouse of Parma. In the following years she starred in numerous French and international film and television productions under renowned directors such as Henri Verneuil (The President ), Christian - Jaque ( Endearing women) and Bernard Bresson ( The Song of Love) and next to the famous colleagues such as Philippe Noiret ( The judge and the assassin ), Jean -Paul Belmondo ( the eerie house) and in several films Jean Gabin (The President, Meadow road No. 10, the volcano in the blood).
