Renée Schwarzenbach-Wille

Renée Schwarzenbach -Wille (* 1883 in Thun, † 1959 in Konstanz) was a Swiss photographer.

Life

Renée Schwarzenbach was the daughter of General Ulrich Wille and Clara Countess von Bismarck, she was thus a granddaughter of Friedrich Wilhelm Graf von Bismarck. In 1904, she married Alfred Schwarzenbach, the major silk industrialists. For a long time she lived in the lakeside village of Horgen on the historic estate buck.

The discovered with 14 years interest in photography, she accompanied her whole life. So she held the family living on the estate determined in a unique, extending over several decades, photographic diary. It documented including the life of her daughter Anne Marie.

The more than 10,000 photographs and many movies hold their diverse interests otherwise, the social life on bucking, sports, music and her controversial political ideology.
