Renzo Arbore

Renzo Arbore (actually Lorenzo Giovanni Maria Antonio Domenico Arbore; * June 24, 1937 in Foggia ) is an Italian radio presenter, actor, screenwriter, film director and musician.

Life

Arbore was nationally known as a radio announcer when he was next to Gianni Boncompagni in shows like " Bandiera Gialla " (1965), "Per voi giovani " (1967) and " Alto gradimento " (1970 ), both of which were characterized by irony and satire. In the season 1969/70 he made his debut in " Speciale per voi ", a television version of the show in which, among other things was also discussed just current music. He celebrated great success a few years later, as he presented the broadcast between 1976 and 1979 format " L' altra Domenica " partly in Surrealist reaching sequences and in which a large number of young actors like Mario Marenco, Isabella Rossellini and Roberto Benigni participated.
