Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles (Japaneseバイオ ハザード ダーク サイド·クロニクル ズ, Baiohazādo Dākusaido Kuronikuruzu for Biohazard: The Darkside Chronicles ) is a 2009 published survival horror shooter light gun for the Nintendo Wii developed by Capcom. It is the sequel to Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles.

In The Darkside Chronicles scenes from Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil code Veronica and South America shown. In contrast to the direct predecessor The Darkside Chronicles received a USK Rating and appear uncensored in Germany.

For 15 -year anniversary of the Resident Evil series appeared The Darkside Chronicles along with Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles as HD Edition PlayStation Store.

Game mechanics

The goals in the game is, as usual with the Wiimote, with, as in games of this kind on the Wii, a cursor is controlled on the screen. The ability to control the game character himself has the player does not, the movement of the character is essentially predetermined and follows a fixed plan. The possibility of evasive movements to make, however, is given.

The game allows two players to play simultaneously, this controls each with its own cursor.

Reviews

Reviews were mostly positive. Praised in particular has been a number of improvements over its predecessor, such as the greater length and improved gameplay depth. Graphics and voltage were highlighted as positive. Was subject to criticism, however, for the frantic camera and the resulting problems aims.
