Reuben Noble-Lazarus

Reuben Courtney Noble- Lazarus ( born August 16, 1993, Huddersfield) is an English football player on the position of a striker and left winger. At the age of 15 years and 45 days, he was the youngest player in the history of the Football League for his first league use.

Career

Noble- Lazarus has already played the age of twelve in the U-18 team of Barnsley FC, scoring a few days before his debut in the first team of the club all three goals in a 3-2 victory for the U-18 against Sheffield United. He made his debut on September 30 in the 0-3 defeat against Ipswich Town when he was on as a substitute in the 84th minute.

Noble- Lazarus thus replaces the previous record holder Albert Geldard (1929 for Bradford Park Avenue ) and Ken Roberts (1951 AFC Wrexham ), which gave her competitive debut at the age of 15 years and 158 days. A week later he came in the league home game in a 4-1 win against Doncaster Rovers just before end of the game used.
