Revue Biblique

The Revue Biblique is an academic journal that is published by the École française de biblique et Archaeological Jérusalem.

The École biblique was founded in 1890 by the French Dominicans in Jerusalem, the magazine was first laid in 1892 by Pierre Batiffol likewise and Marie -Joseph Lagrange in Jerusalem.

The Revue Biblique deals with research on the Bible, but also related sciences, such as History and languages ​​of the ancient Near East in general, apocryphal literature, rabbinic literature and patristics. A special focus is the archeology in Palestine and the neighboring countries, it is taught by guided in particular by the École Biblique ( and other institutions ) excavations.
