Revue at midnight is a German musical film DEFA by Gottfried Kolditz from the year 1962.
Action
One day three important people of filmmaking are abducted: art director Jens Holle, composer and playwright Herbert Schöniger Eberhard Gallstein eventually find themselves at the home of film producer Otto Kruse again, who wants to bring them through the action to collaborate on a revue film. Also author Paul Biesack should be kidnapped, but suspected of the plan and refused, so instead the little composer and ex- plumber Alexander Ritter joins the group. Alexander is excited by the idea of the revue film, but the other three see it as too big a risk and finally flee secretly from the villa.
