RFEM

RFEM is a 3D FEM software for structural analysis and design of steel, reinforced concrete, wood, glass and membrane structures for the plant and mechanical engineering as well as for dynamic analyzes.

RFEM is used worldwide in over 7,000 engineers and universities. Within the research project "Thermal Imaging and Structural Analysis of Sandstone Monuments in Angkor " RFEM was to create numerical models and used for structural analysis.

BIM Integration

RFEM has several interfaces for data exchange as part of the BIM process. All relevant structural data in a three-dimensional model are recorded digitally, which runs through all planning processes. So no different models, for example, in the CAD and structural analysis programs used, but it carried a direct exchange of one and the same model.

In addition to direct interfaces to Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit Structure, Autodesk Structural Detailing, Bentley Systems applications ( ISM) and Tekla Structures RFEM has, among other interfaces for IFC and CIS / 2

Material and cross-sectional libraries

The material library RFEM includes various types of concrete, metal, wood, glass, foil, gases and soils.

The cross-sectional library of RFEM rolled includes composite, thin-walled and massive cross-sections for concrete, wood and steel.
