Rhinelandic

The term Rheinische language is used very inconsistently:

Since the Südniederfränkische in the West continues in the Netherlands and neighboring Belgium in Limburg, the languages ​​were referred to in the German part of the dialect area as Ostlimburgisch. Today this term is rather limited to a narrow border area in the province of Limburg and the neighboring German territory to Krefeld and Viersen. For the südniederfränkischen dialects between the Rhine and Wuppertal, there is also the designation " (Western) or (low ) Bergisch ".
