Rho Persei

Gorgonea Tertia is the proper name of the star ρ Persei ( Rho Persei, just by ρ ) in the constellation Perseus.

Gorgonea Tertia is a semi- regular variable star whose apparent brightness like with periods of 33 days and 933 days, between 3.2 and 4.1 may fluctuate.

Gorgonea Tertia belongs to the spectral class M4 and is about 308 light-years away from Earth. It is found just south of the famous eclipsing variable star Algol.
