Rhombicosidodecahedron

The (small ) rhombicosidodecahedron is a polyhedron, which is among the Archimedean bodies. It consists of 20 regular triangles, 30 squares and 12 regular pentagons.

The name of the Rhombenikosidodekaeders based on the fact that the squares 30 are congruent to the diamonds 30 of a circumscribed Rhombentriakontaeders.

Ten edges of the Rhombenikosidodekaeders form a regular decagon. In total, there are twelve such independent, equilateral Ten corner in a rhombicosidodecahedron.

The rhombicosidodecahedron for dual body is the Deltoidalhexakontaeder.
