Rhythmic Music Conservatory

The Rytmisk Conservatory of Music ( German: Rhythmic Music Conservatory ) is a modern conservatory in Copenhagen, Denmark, and is subordinate to the Ministry of Culture. It provides an education at the highest level in contemporary music and other music forms, from jazz to rock and pop to the latest musical expressions, such as hip-hop and electronic music.

The predecessor was founded in 1986 in Frederiksberg and moved in 1996 to the site of the former naval base Holmen in Copenhagen, where the Rytmisk Conservatory of Music under founding rector Erik Moseholm together with the National Theatre School, Den Danske Filmskole ( Danish Film School ) and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts new einrichtete.

2005, the British musician and composer Django Bates was appointed professor for Rhythmic Music Conservatory of Music.

Training

The semester go each August to December and from January to June.
