Rhythms del Mundo

Rhythms del Mundo - Cuba is an album that have collaborated on the famous Cuban Son musician with internationally well-known rock and pop musicians. Represented are, for example, Ibrahim Ferrer and Omara Portuondo of the Buena Vista Social Club, as well as Coldplay, U2, Sting, Dido, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand and Rodrigo y Gabriela.

All artists involved in this album support the British organization Artists' Project Earth in their Stop Global Warming campaign. The association, which occurs as a victim relief from natural disasters, is keen to encourage a new awareness of the dangers of climate change and global warming.

The songs on the album are produced in Cuban music style Son Cubano and recorded, but sung by the original artists.
