Riad Beyrouti

Riad Beyrouti (Arabic ریاض بیروتي; born May 6, 1944 in Damascus ) is a Syrian painter. He lives in the French region of Lower Normandy since 1969.

Biography

Riad Beyrouti studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Damascus, where he specialized in the making of sculptures. In 1969, he moved to France and studied sculpture at the Ecole nationale supérieure des beaux -arts de Paris. At the time, César Baldaccini was responsible for the sculpture department of this school.

He participated in Caen and Honfleur in various exhibitions.
