Ribbon diagram

Bands models are molecular models of protein structures. Visualize elements of secondary structure as the α - helix or β -sheet and allow a representation of the tertiary structure. Several polypeptides can be labeled in different colors for better distinction. Band diagrams are used in the molecular modeling, for example, in protein engineering.
