Ricardo Antonio Chavira

Ricardo Antonio Chavira ( born September 1, 1971 in Austin, Texas ) is an American actor.

Life

Chavira grew up with his siblings and parents in Austin, Texas. After he completed his Master of Fine Arts at the University of California, San Diego in 2000, he moved to Los Angeles, where he played in several major theaters.

He received worldwide recognition by producing since 2004 U.S. television series Desperate Housewives in the role of Carlos Solis, the husband of played by Eva Longoria Gabrielle Solis. He embodied the character until the end of the TV series in 2012.

He is married with Marcea Dietzel and has two children.
