Ricardo Canales

Ricardo Canales (* May 30, 1982 in La Ceiba, Honduras ) is a Honduran football goalkeeper. The national team is in CD Motagua under contract.

Career

Ricardo Canales career began at CD Victoria, where he was for five years under contract and so convincing work handed in that CD Motagua, one of the big clubs in the Honduran league was aware of him. Since joining in 2006, Canales guards as the undisputed number one goal of Motagua.

In the National Team Ricardo Canales was always the third choice. His first international match, he denied 28 June 2009 against Panama. With the Football World Cup 2010 in South Africa, he stood in the Honduran squad, but was expected to no use.
