Rich Harrison

Rich Harrison (* 1975 in Washington) is an American R & B / Soul producer and musician who is primarily responsible for the retrostilistischen sound in productions such as Beyonce's " Crazy In Love" and Amerie's " One Thing " shows.

Harrison, a trained pianist and trumpeter, 1997, his studies in history and communication studies at Howard University in Washington ended in order to devote himself permanently to the music.

1999 undertook Mary J. Blige the then newcomer for her album Mary, for the Rich wrote the song " Beautiful Ones " and produced. Barely two years later, in late 2001, he founded his own label Rich Inc., whose first release, the debut album All I Have Amerie was his protégés. Became famous for Harrisons but only in 2003 with his collaboration with Beyoncé, for which he created the worldwide hit " Crazy In Love" and for whose success he was again even rewarded with a Grammy.

Since then followed many other collaborations for recent albums by artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson, Missy Elliott, or even Gwen Stefani.
