Rich Kenah

Richard M. " Rich" Kenah (* August 4, 1970 in Montclair ) is a former American professional middle distance runner who came into existence mainly in the 800 -meter run.

His most successful season he completed in 1997. In March, he won at the IAAF World Indoor Athletics Championships in Paris, the bronze medal over 800 m. It turned on with a time of 1:46,16 a personal Hallenbestleistung min. In the Race of Champions Kipketer Wilson scored a world record indoor ( 1:42,67 min) and the second-placed Moroccans Mahjoub Haida a national record ( 1:45,76 min).

In August of the same year Kenah also won the bronze medal at the World Athletics Championships in Athens. After he missed the following season due to injury, Kenah could not go on from his earlier results later. At the World Athletics Championships in 1999 in Seville he still reached the semi-finals, at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney he failed in the preliminary round. 2000, however, he still managed a respectable result. Together with Joey Woody, Karl Paranya and David Krummacker he presented with a time of 7:13,94 min on an indoor world record in the rarely overflowed 4 x 800 - meter relay.
