Richard Grady
Richard Grady ( born April 28, 1955 in Edmonton ) is a former Canadian ski jumper.
Career
Grady, whose brother Donald was also active as a ski jumper, made his international debut at the Four Hills Tournament 1972/73. After he came here but in none of jumping into the top 80, he finished the tour only ranked 79 overall. Better for him was the Four Hills Tournament 1973/74. This Grady reached in Innsbruck on the Bergiselschanze with rank 49 is the best tour - single result of his career. In the end he was ranked 53 of tour - Appreciation.
In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1974 in Falun Grady succeeded on the large hill with jumps of 82.5 and 86.5 meters of 45th place. From the normal hill he took after jumps to 76.5 and 71 meters, ranking 55th
In the Four Hills Tournament 1974/75 Grady reached Rank 49 in the overall standings be best overall result, although he was unable to match the from the previous year with his individual results. In his final Four Hills Tournament 1975/76, when for the first time his brother launched internationally, Grady played only two of the four events and finished second in the overall standings four places behind his brother Rank 91
At the Olympic Winter Games 1976 in Innsbruck Grady landed on the normal hill well before his brother ranked 48th from the large hill he could also prevail against his brother and landed two places before that ranked 46th
