Richard J. Terrile

Richard John Terrile ( born March 22, 1951 in New York City ) is an American astronomer.

He works at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory of NASA, in the Voyager program. In this context, he was the discoverer of several moons of Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

Two attempts to apply as an astronaut at NASA, but failed.
