Richard L. Hunter
Richard Lawrence Hunter ( born 1953 ) is a British classical scholar.
He studied at the University of Sydney and a PhD from the University of Cambridge, where he then worked as a Lecturer and Fellow. He was appointed as the successor of Patricia Elizabeth Easterling to the Regius Professor of Greek in 2001.
Hunter is a corresponding member of the Academy of Athens and an Honorary Fellow of the University of Sydney since 2001.
