Richard Llewellyn

Richard Llewellyn (pseudonym of Richard Doyle Vivian Llewellyn Lloyd) ( born December 8, 1906 in St Davids, Pembrokeshire, † November 30, 1983 in London) was a Welsh writer.

Biography

After his military service, and a short stint as a film director, he began his writing career. His major work was the novel " How Green was my Valley " (1939 ), a story about a Welsh mining village, both in 1941 under the title " Green Was My Valley " by John Ford and 1975 under the title " How Green Was My Valley " as six -part television series was filmed.

His other works apart from dramas:
