Richard Simonton

Richard Simonton ( born 1915, † 1979), known under the pseudonym Doug Malloy, was an American entrepreneur who has made ​​a significant contribution to make body piercing in the Western world popular.

Career

Under the name of Doug Malloy to Simonton made ​​a name in the Body Modification scene. In the 1970s, the early years of the "modern" piercings, Simonton published the first publications and established links between the pioneers of the scene as Fakir Musafar, Horst Heinrich route Bach, Alan Oversby and Jim Ward ago.
