Richard Weil ( born February 6, 1988 in Frankfurt ) is a German football player.

Career

Because began his career in November 1994 in the G- Youth of the Frankfurt suburb Club TSG Niederrad. After four and a half years in Niederrad he moved in 1999 to the D- youth of Eintracht Frankfurt. When Eintracht he went through the youth classes from the D to the A- youth youth and was transferred to the second team of the club in the summer of 2007. There he was immediately a regular player and excelled also as a scorer. At the end of the 2007/08 season he was fourth in the Oberliga Hessen Frankfurt and thus qualified for the league after the reform, new fourth-rate Regionalliga Süd. The following year, although he was a fixture in the U -23 and has been with the team a third party; promotion to the second division team but he did not succeed.

After the season, he joined in the summer of 2009, the Regional Champion and promoted 1.FC Heidenheim 1846. His professional debut in the 3rd league he gave on 25 July 2009, when he stood in a 2-2 draw against Borussia Wuppertal SV in the starting lineup on the opening day of the 2009/10 season. Also in the higher league he could consistently assert itself as a regular player and are characterized above all as Torvorbereiter. In two years, he went to 17 assists and 12 goals in 65 games own. In the season 2011/12, however, he had only to contend with muscular problems and then threw him back a lateral ligament tear in the winter break. Nevertheless, he still came up with 26 missions without their own goal. On 21 December 2012, the first FC Heidenheim announced not to renew his dated before 30 June 2013 contract. End of January 2013 were dissolved his contract prematurely and he moved to the reserve of the first FSV Mainz 05
