Rick Boyer
Rick Boyer ( born October 13, 1943 in Evanston, Illinois; actually Richard Lewis Boyer ) is an American writer.
The son of a lawyer studied English at Denison University in Granville, Ohio, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and " Creative Writing " with Kurt Vonnegut at the University of Iowa. There he received the degree of Master of Fine Arts. Since 1988, Boyer is a professor of literature at Western Carolina University.
From 1968 he was married to Elaine Edith Smudsky. The marriage come from the two common sons, divorced in 1983.
